Re: Super 15
Brumbies V Reds, not quite a great start to S15 season. Bad pro 12 level of ref.
Re: Super 15
Who is Murphy that came on for the brumbies.

This guy's making his debut tomorrow for Cheika's Waratahs, might just be worth keeping an eye on.

Waching this morning's Reds v Tahs. Poxy Reds going well. 14 3 after 11 mins.
Re: Super 15
Cheika is (was) not going to be happy with these lads at half time.
Pack is 920kg Reds are about 60kg lighter.
McKibben missed 2 kicks and a 2nd row knocked on on the line.

Only watched the 1st half. He won a lineout, otherwise I didn't notice him much.Peg Leg wrote:How did EOD the horse go for the Reds?johng wrote:Cheika is (was) not going to be happy with these lads at half time.

May squeeze in the 2nd half tomorrow. 17 3 to the reds at ht.

Sharks v Stormers. Utter rubbish. NZ conference is going to produce the winner of the overhyped15. BRB going to watch top 14.

Just watched it. Came on here to say. Munster could play like the Crusaders if they just had Dan Carter, Sam Whitelock & Kieran Reid instead of Rog Doc and O'Mahony.Donny B. wrote:http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,2588 ... 36,00.html
That seemed like a bit of a match.
It's odd watching them after watching Munster. Seeing Whitelock and Reid pop up on the wing without knocking on or passing into touch.
Great game. Have a cousin in Wellington. Got a ferry into the harbour past the stadium (The cake tin) to meet him about 5 years ago. So I'm happy with the result

Comedy tackling by the canes for a couple of the tries though

Par for the course in Super Rugby (esp NZ conference IMO) though that the defence is a little wanting structurally outside of one off big hits that look impressive.johng wrote:Comedy tackling by the canes for a couple of the tries though
Interesting to see Ed ODonoghue seems to be pretty much first team at Reds now, but bit of a penalty machine.

Re: Super 15
I am basing this on absolutely nothing, but I am CERTAIN the declining attendance figures and playing numbers in Australian rugby is down to the absolute douchebags working for FOX Sports. I'd never normally use that word (douchebag) but can you think of a better word for them? tw@t just doesn't cover it.
Sean Maloney is the biggest douche in a crew of douchebags. I hate when the lads laugh at him when he's clearly just a douche.
The Top 5 incercepts of all time should be great but it is ruined by their Aussieness - http://www.rugbydump.com/2013/03/3063/t ... f-all-time

Great run there from Brad Thorn. Steps one tackler, bumps another and is hauled down just short of the line. Still looks in great nick

I really do love that man. Caught a few minutes of him playing last week and his clearing out is just a thing a beauty. He thunders through the ruck treating other players like skittles and then keeps a nice long back and a wide stance which stops people pushing him back and protects the ball perfectly. Honestly one of my favourite sights in rugby.Donny B. wrote:Great run there from Brad Thorn. Steps one tackler, bumps another and is hauled down just short of the line. Still looks in great nick
