Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

This, I'd be happy to see Edinburgh, Connacht and possibly Cardiff or maybe Zebre return and loose a few English teams if they don't feel up to it. Feel sorry for the English fans though most seem to enjoy euro days.
I'd take most of what was written in the Times - a paper with a vested interest in undermining BT - about the European Cup with as much salt as anything coming out of a Nigel's hole.

"Buys"
Saracens "debt" isn't debt in the sense of a bank loan, bonds etc. It's structured that way for tax purposes. The problem for them has been the persistent losses that have accompanied their success and it's not going to change anytime soon IMO. They've also dragged every other PRL team into debt chasing success.

But the standard of this year's Six Nations, the intensity, came up short when compared to the four games played out in Llanelli, Limerick, Clermont-Ferrand and Dublin last weekend.
Yeah, nah. England lost 3 games.

Don't disagree with any of that, they have been a blight on rugby.

Yes pretty cheap to "buy" unsecured loans, he either gave them nothing or if he paid anything it will be a tax write off from somewhere else.
An ownership system that is dependent on the largesse and health of one man is extremely unreliable. Bristol Shoguns and to an extent Stade Francais in Rugby, Gretna FC and Blackburn Rovers in soccer show what happens when that largesse or health fails

Didn't Castres have the same issue - it was bankrolled by the guy who owned a local pharmaceutical plant and after his death the family didn't want to know.

Think the support was conditional on them staying in the T14.
