Re: O'Gara cited
People dont like him, deal with it. Hes been handing out reasons to dislike him, like confetti, over the years.
Its not even a local thing, all around the world people have taken a dislike to him.

When are we likely to hear about the impending ban for Saint Ronan after his alledged kick!
Re: O'Gara cited
Think the hearing is at three so and there's two others in their so news will probably break about six or seven-ish....flustered wrote:When are we likely to hear about the impending ban for Saint Ronan after his alledged kick!

Its entry level kicking offence so its 4 weeks with deductions unless you read conor George in which case the ban will rule him out of Lions contention

Re: O'Gara cited
It was barely worth that.
Re: O'Gara cited
It was barely worth the cost of holding the hearing, let alone acting as a detterent, etc.fourthirtythree wrote:It was barely worth that.

About right. Cox was acting the b*%&!cks and deserved a slap, probably would have got nothing for that, but the kick was dumb.fourthirtythree wrote:It was barely worth that.
I just can't wait to read the report though..
Striking an opponent: minimum four weeks
A week off for his excellent disciplinary record - never been sent off you know (well either have the majority of Irish rugby players, hell even that angel Quinny never got a red but we'll let that go)
A further week off because he brought a fresh batch of his mammy's scones with him for the committee to enjoy and they were rather marvellous....
Another week off because he gave us the winner to the 3.15 at Kempton....
So one week off for the naughty boy from Cork....
Re: O'Gara cited
A week is probably fair. He mightn't have gotten a red card (just yellow) if it had been seen.
He's missing a crucial Heineken Cup game, one that Munster's season depends on. It could be the biggest club game left in his career.

Re: O'Gara cited
Thats a kick in the nads tbh. He'll miss next week but he'll be back for the 6 nations. So a munster backline lead by keatley (who doesn't have to play so deep he's nearly 6 ft under) knocks us out of the HEC and then O'Gara comes back to f*ck the 6 nations for us............
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

"It was accepted he was trying to trip not kick the player"
One, he put a fair bit of power into that "trip", two, tripping is a serious offence in rugby too.....
