I hoped he would not be hit with a lengthy ban as it was not that serious an incident and he does not deserve to end his international career on a ban. HOWEVER one week is a bit of a joke. They accepted that he tried to trip not kick. I am not sure what camera angles they had but it is a funny looking trip.

So Munster get the benefit of not having him and the international team are get him back in time to block the development of another currently more qualified OH. I had thought that he would at least miss the Wales game and could come back to warm the bench later in the season before hopefully announcing his international retirement in a joint retirement press conference with Deccie.

I remember watching an 8 year old Ken Doherty having to stand on a chair to reach the snooker table. Cracken he was even then.

Toland wondering today why Cox wasn't cited for his body check/shoulder charge on ROG that provoked him
It was an obstruction not striking/charging etc
How could a lock clatter ROG and not even knock him over?
Retired from babbling. Can be found on twittter @okeeffesimon

In the same way that he's scored most of his 2500 points for Munster from place trips.

Damn, with my nomination for 'Post of the Year' coming on January 5th I always knew it would be impossible to hold the title for the entire year but I did hope my Fion Carr's Ass post would hold out for more than 13 days :(
