Cedric Heymans career over

Cedric Heymans released from Bayonne deal after tearing his acl. Retiring at the end of the season.
There go my hopes of Leinster signing him to complete the triumvirate of Nacewa, Fitz and Heymans into the best back three in Europe.
He got injured back in Sept, he was in good form and still had gas, guess he couldnt be arsed getting back into shape.
Here's the video of aforementioned knee knack, for those of you into that sort of thing.

Or....

This if you wanna see what he could do. This try v NZ was superb. The only problem is the NZ commentators never once in the 1:26 minute clip recognised it was Cedric Heymans who scored. Clerc, another brilliant French winger, was credited even though the TV caption got it right.

A thinly veiled dig there?
See how he constantly changes how he holds the ball throughout the move, even a feigned pass to fix a defender....mmmmm!

What? subterfuge and subtlety needed for a winger? Shure all dey hav to do is run fasht and Deccie will pick them. Unless they are Fionn Carr.

I think the direction Fionn has been running/bounced is the difference there.

Great try from a great player. Sad to see him finish with injury; wish him the best of luck in whatever he does next.

But on another point.... :( Those bloody Kiwi/ Aussie commentators- and not just in this clip! Jeez I complain about our boys occassionaly, but the the mixture of assured arrogance and lazy ignorance puts those boys head of any list of gobshites.
