My guess is that they both get a 1 year (depending on how this season goes) and after that we may only give one of them a further year.
A lot depends on how the HC thing pans out too.
Also if Reddan stay back up to Murray he's still away a lot so some gametime for Cooney, if Boss third choice that takes him away a bit with squad sessions too before injuries come into it.
As we have 2 very senior and very good 9s and two very good young 9s we could just see a lot more of them being phased in the next season or two (a la Jack McGrath). To me it makes sense as the worst case scenario is you could have Cooney and/or McGrath getting frustrated and signing a 2 or 3 year deal elsewhere and we are left stuck
RWC could be a cut off point for one or both but most likely Reddan
