Amlin Challenge Cup 13-14
Tonights chilling view of the PRL vision of the future is brought to you by those Meritocrats of Sale and Biarritz. Zebre would beat a combined XV of these two 'teams'. 9-3 to Sale with a TMO call to come. No 'world class' props on display sadly.

One item of interest to those of a certain vintage is that Phillipe Sella's son is playing in the centre for BOPB

I believe it is although Sella might have disowned him on the back of this muckDave Cahill wrote:One item of interest to those of a certain vintage is that Phillipe Sella's son is playing in the centre for BOPB

Sella is still better than every player currently on the pitch.domhnallj wrote:I believe it is although Sella might have disowned him on the back of this muckDave Cahill wrote:One item of interest to those of a certain vintage is that Phillipe Sella's son is playing in the centre for BOPB
16-3 at half time in a game as pleasurable to watch as pulling the pubic hairs out of your plums one by one before dipping your man sack in vinegar.

This is pretty bad alright, even the Sale fans weren't bothered to turn up.

Looking like it will be a long long season for BOPB.
Re: Amlin Challenge Cup 13-14
The score board looks fine from tonight's stade fr v lusitanos xv (portugal), but remarkable lack of creativity from the french. Only strong running and a dominant scrum to get the points, and took a long time to adjust to being tackled low. Portuguese played with two scrum halves in the second half with one looking after the left side of the pitch and the other the right - sort of worked too
...a beautiful weighted pass...it is 3 on 2...it is 3 on 1...Hickie!...Magnificent!

Only saw a slow-mo reply.. but the try scored with the one-handed carry looked a bit ridiculous.nc6000 wrote:This is pretty bad alright, even the Sale fans weren't bothered to turn up.
Dont Panic!

Luckily I started to watch this about an hour after kickoff. Fast forwarded through most of it. Little flutter of excitement at the end when Sale went looking for the BP with Cipriani off the bench.
Fecker ended up throwing it into touch on the last play.
I thought Biarritz were muck when they played us in the semi, but this was a new low.
Good ad for the proposed Rugby Jollygoodchaps cup next season.
