A 20-minute poem. We never got that from Owen Finnegan! ;-)

If this is what a poem does, we have to get our lads into creative writing class next season. :D

bit of poor refereeing there (for me). Clear knock on by blue 11 in the tackle, fielded 30 yards upfield by his own player - ref allowed play to continue. Lead to this penalty by Foley. The Crusaders will need to get their hands on the ball soon

Yes, AAC's was better though. He's been brilliant so far.

Hadn't heard of Foley before but he's an all round class act as a ten. Bit like Jonny sexton

Agreed. Having said that, Crusaders have hardly had the ball so far this half, yet are well in touch

He's been a revelation for the 'Tahs this season. He's still a very young man - although he looks older than he is - so is likely to improve. Australia might well have their nex long-term outside half

Excellent match. Could have gone either way. Cheika deserves a lot of credit for pulling together a lot of individuals (some with previously suspect temperaments) and getting them to play as a team. Great pressure kick by Foley to win it. Great game.

Delighted for Cheiks! Thought it had gone but Foley showed some stones to kick that from that range.

Absolute classic of a final too.

Yeah I was thinking that alright. I've never seen Palu and Beale as consistently good. Robinson and Polota-Nau are back to their best too. A few world-class guys in the likes of Folau, Ashely-Cooper and Hooper and some really good emerging players like Phipps and Foley. Need to work on their lineout though.
