They have a foothold in the the 5 jurisdictions. Have loads of dosh. Their CEO is a Leinster man, (I Think), he lives here anyway. They are looking to drop their hard, cold, uncaring image and be more customer friendly. Rugby, although small has a very positive public image. It's a match made in heaven really.
How would it look when they hike up prices with inside knowledge of fixtures before general release?
Since when did Ryanair worry about public perception?

For me this is what makes the internet great:

"In my town if you continue the way you are there will be trouble down the line in some form or another."

I now have an image of him riding off into the sunset wearing a cowboy hat for some reason. Can we trace his IP address and appeal for him to come back?

I think that is still my favourite thread ever. And every time I see some combination of Kearneys, Darce and Ferg named in the team I chuckle to myself about the Clongowes mafia.

What a speedster!
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

He was an interesting sideshow for a while but if he had been serious about the game he would have given it at least another year. I would think he was told he was not going to make it and given the option to leave rather than get pushed. His speed is great but there is more to the game than attack even for a wing.

Does anyone have any real news about the pro12.

A sponsorship deal and a bit of promotion would be nice. Also some plan to build it possibly into a multi division europe wide league would have my backing.

However for now I would be happy with a serious sponsorship deal, some real promotion and Sky doing a job on it. Just hope that the tv situation will be sorted so all games are shown somewhere.

I've just engaged Sky on the back of their promised Pro12 coverage (and cancelled BT). How's that for some useless info. The sponsorship deal should be unveiled soon?
