The same rugby "community" that were happy enough to kill of rugby on Ireland, Scotland and Italy for the good of the game a few months ago?

A bit odd. As the "Amlin" will not exist next year. And the people who run the comp have been driven out of business. Rightly or wrongly depending on your pov.

Confused as to why anyone would do this?

Slightly out of order. At what point did the fans in any country get a say in what was going on around the future of European competition?

No problem with Ticket allocation last year.....

Btw is the final sold out? Maybe the loyal fans have already bought their tickets when they were on open sale

Yeah probably. I realise I don't speak for Leinster rugby or its fans, but on this one they can all go sleep in a ditch for all I care. Rugby community my arse.

Why bother with this petition then?

It was a petition by a bath fan on behalf of his ilk and Barwells orcs to have the ERC, that the PRL clubs have done all in their power to destroy, move the Amlin final from the Arms Park to a larger stadium because supporters of those clubs didn't have enough faith in their teams to buy tickets in advance.

Funny enough I bought tickets last July. You just have to plan a little.

DC from your dismissive tone would it be ok to sell my tickets for 3 times what I paid and a place in the new European Cup?

I'm against touting Ian as you know, but my problem, unusually, is with those who purchase the tickets rather than those who sell them.

It wasnt really about the money. I just want to field a team in Europe.

Indeed. An appeal to the same "rugby community" they were happy enough to kill off a few months ago for a few more £££££.

f%~k?'em, they weren't concerned with the wider rugby community for the last year when they wanted everyone else to bend over and take what they were giving us just so they could line their pockets. All those Bath fans had a year to buy their tickets but weren't arsed, so why should a match be moved now just because they now decide they actually now can be bothered to go.

Swap it with the final, Saracens won't fill it anyway.

Every year "real rugby fans' decide to go to the final regardless of who is in it. You buy tickets for the Amlin on the Friday and main event the next day. There were plenty of English fans in the RDS last year for the Amlin- all proudly wearing their club jerseys- great fans and great to meet.

It's part of the colour of euro finals - the different supporters meeting in a rugby celebration, most showing their club colours! Maybe some bath fans just don't know the setup?

Btw it's not the ERC fault that Paris pulled the plug about nine months ago on holding the final. The parc de princes or wherever would have had plenty of room, but hey, would the moaners travel that far?
