State of Origin.

Who's watching? Possibly the only "big game" to regularly live up to the hype. KO in 20mins.

Cronk will be a loss for QLD if he stays off. NSW seem to have stemmed the tide for now. But yes it looks like an uphill task for the blues - but when is it any other way?

For the past while anyway, QLD are on a roll, its as much a mental block for NSW as anything now.

If you have Jarryd Hayne on your team, anything is possible. What a cracking try he's just scored, and was instrumental in their first.

Poor miss on the conversion

That was never a knock on. I hope it doesn't go on to hurt NSW

Indeed. A nailbiter to end a thrilling match. Some of the best rugby you'll ever see gets played in Origin matches.

Completely agree, for whatever reason very few rugby finals, WC,HC etc match up to Origin.

Apart from the skill levels - which are tremendous - I just have to applaud the fitness levels of both teams. I have no notion how they keep going for 80 mins at that pace. Maybe rugby union could have a look at rolling interchanges

If it made for games as fast paced and entertaining as the one we watched earlier, I;d be all for it.

My uncle's local team is the Eels. I try to keep an eye on Hayne. When I was watching him he could do something phenomenal then something awful within 5 minutes. A bit like Quade Cooper in that regard.

Is possibly more consistent now. Massively talented though.

Bad weekend for Queensland. Inglis has just gone down in the Souths v Warriors game, to add to a mounting injury list that includes Cronk, Cherry-Ellis and Billy Slater already
