If he's fit and not broken as Cullen was when he came here, Mils could turn out to be a great signing. Really top class player and a decent bloke by all accounts.

Gotta say, Connacht are starting to look like a serious Pro12 standard outfit, in terms of strength in depth. I still have my doubts about Lam as a coach, but his recruitment skills can't be questioned at this stage (cough, cough, Craig Clarke, cough).

drags bit unlucky with 2 disallowed trys for marginal forward passes, but Connacht are certainly an improving side .

Looked like a big crowd on hand to, I can see them beating a lot of pro 12 sides at home this season

also theyll lose only Henshaw to Ireland matchdays and Marmion to squad training

Ospreys A
Zebre H
Scarlets H
Scarlets A
Dragons A
Treviso H
Cardiff A

their games when internationals are on, they win a few in Wales its the litmus test for the team and will do wonders for squad spirit, and potential euro qualification

With the international boys away , the welsh regions shouldn't hold any terrors for a nigh on full strength Connacht.

I'd expect them to finish above one and probably two welsh regions this year but don't see them being a play off side tbh

dont see it myself unless they get an injection of cash via the IRFU or somewhere now that Treviso have gone down the swanny, Cardiff Dragons Scarlets Ospreys the ascending order of difficulty for the away trips I reckon

I think I've just had some clarity with regards to Fionn Carr. Henshaw makes a lovely break into the Edinburgh 22 and bang Carr in at the side and ruins what looked like a promising attack.

He was a big liability for Connacht - looked miles off the pace and made multiple errors. Last I saw him was against Scarlets where he was looking top class. So tonights performance might be just down to being rusty.

Hopefully, the prospect of him and Olding for Ireland is mouth watering.
