When you pick a top player as Sivivatu, which can f%~k an European final, you can't say that Abendanon is a "choker". He made a big mistake at Twickenham, but was more than a good player this year.
(Remember that at Twickenham, James has been injuried... 5 minutes before the kick off. It's not about choking, it is not rationnal at all)
I understand what you mean, but it is not as simple.
Nakaitaci, Fofana, Davies are not chokers, but they were injuried.
Buttin, Nalaga had not yesterday the Top14 level
Rougerie, Lopez, Parra did what they could, but they could not a lot: all were more tired than Paris player. It's not about choking, it's 8 more games played in the year! Well done Paris.
And I don't talk about the players of the pack: Kayser was dead but Ulugia has been injuried after 20 minutes, players as Debaty or Bonnaire did'nt have nothing to give and had proud and good substitutes.. but only substitutes.
And Cudmore was injuried too.
Tha's why I can say that I am sad, but not desapointed.
You can talk about a choke syndrom, but it doesn't enough.
And I hate when a referee call one Captain "Sergio" and the other "Monsieur". As the choke syndrom, I can talk about it, but it doesn't enough.
People are more than sad in Clermont, some are angry. I can't admit it about rugby. It was a huge opportunity to win yesterday, more than I had expected, but Paris did'nt stole it.
But I guess that a neutral guy could'nt enjoy such a game. Poor french rugby.
Au revoir.
