Completely undeserved victory for Toulon. Only one team trying to play with any ambition all game.

Clermont really do have you reaching for the cliches. Toulon were imperious last year but they were very beatable this one.

Clermont are unquestionably the stupidest team in the history of European rugby. Every time they are faced with a choice between doing the right thing or the really f%~king stupid thing, they'll pick the latter.

You may not like it but Toulon are the best team in European cup history. They absolutely deserved to win today.

I don't care for Toulon but they fully deserved the winning of that match.

Can't argue with that, still don't like it.

And the firing of the wrong ribbons during the presentation brings a fitting end to the first season of the European Champions Cup

Come back ERC, all is forgiven. Also is it true that Leinster only received 300k this year for reaching the semi's? Munster got 450k last year for reaching the same point.

What was the crowd today?
I wonder what the gate receipts were more importantly

Total BS. It's easy to dislike Toulon but Clermont were a shambles today, would have loved them to win but they once again fell flat when it mattered all over the pitch - woeful tackling for Mitchell's try, Abendanon's brain fart at the end of the first half and a series of unforced errors, culminating with Lopez's cross kick in over time. Only one team deserved to win today and they were wearing red.

Clermont are serious bottlers, they go to pieces in the big games, as winning at all costs is engrained in Toulons DNA, bottling it if at all possible is engrained in Clermonts, they need a leader.

That's who Sexton should have gone to. They'd have won something with him.

You should wear rugby clothes and show what you are able to do.

Toulon deserves it, but it's a paradox: they gave ASM opportunities to win a match they should have won by 25 or more.
The strongest won today.

Au revoir.

I desagree. And you can guess how sorry i can be. They deserved it. Today they were them our best ennemies. ASM was a proud sparring partner but RCT was better today. Better but not self assured. A weird match in fact.

Strange but true. They were beatable but stronger.
