Gate receipts go to EPCR.
Presumably that's after costs.
The IRFU will do very nicely hiring out the Aviva to Munster.

That's what I was thinking.
Would I be right in thinking that the irfu take the TV rights money also??
Is there any financial benefit to the province if they have a home semi?

I don't think you get anything directly, there's not even participation money anymore. The stadium management company will make a few quid for the IRFU at EOY but that's not a lot when it's split 4 or 5 ways.
There are probably indirect benefits though like sponsorship boosts etc.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

It would be a real shame to see Munster have to move the game to Dublin when there is a 50K capacity stadium a few hundred meters away from Thomond Park.
I know it won't happen, but I would love to see the potential semi final being played in Limerick.

Be great to see Cork, Limerick or Thurles host a Euro semi, granted those stadia don't have the facilities Lansdowne does but in terms of economic benefit to both the Munster locale and the GAA it'd be an interesting new revenue stream and foolish not to be explored.

It wouldn't. You'll get a better deal on the stadium from the IRFU without any of the hassle of having to beg the GAA to open up. Plus the money stays in house and can help keep Munster Rugby solvent.

Not withstanding the shenanigans last week, congrats and well deserved.
Glasgow are at their most dangerous when they play running passing rugby and leave the other nonsense alone.
I suspect Saracens will be your next opponents and they are in for a rude awakening but only if you stick to what you do best.
Shenanigans?? Not even going there.
Neither are we going to Saracens (more's the pity). Extremely likely to be away to Munster.
As I was saying
Saracens won't be one bit pleased to get Glasgow as QF opponents.
Probably the toughest draw.

Love it when I'm wrong.
Apart from anything else we're only a small club but took an estimated 1000 to Leicester yesterday (which given we only have 5k STHs isn't a bad effort). Wherever Saracens play will be much easier to get to them Limerick so I'd be hopeful of a decent travelling support.
As we're new to this when are fixtures etc usually out?
Both Leinster and Glasgow will have most of their starting 15 and some subs involved in the 6 nations. There is a strong possibility of a number of injuries, which could have a serious impact on their quality.
Munster will not be hit so bad, but an injury to Murray or stander would be massive.

Both Leinster and Glasgow will have the vast majority of their teams training and playing together for the seven weeks of the 6N, albeit with a different Coach. The teams which suffer most in the 6N are those who lose their 5 or 6 star players and yet have to play important games without the key players who make them successful teams.

Toulon might be a good bet, on that basis. Guirado and Halfpenny their only players in 6N squads, unless I'm missing something.

That's an interesting take on things, and not the angle I was looking at.
I was more thinking about the attrition required to play in the 6 nations, and the high possibility of your best players getting injured.
The only way your point makes sense is if Leinster and Glasgow play the same style as Ireland and Scotland respectively.
Which neither do, or are likely to do.
