European Champions Cup [Most Improved]

Post by mtleinster »

So obviously Toulon go into this years competition as huge favourites, but who do you tink will buck the trend and make it to the QF un expectedly.

Toulon 3
northampton 5
leinster 6
saracens 8
clermont auvergne 9
racing metro 16
toulouse 20
montpellier 20
munster 25
leicester 25
ulster 25
bath 25
harlequins 50
glasgow 33
ospreys 150
wasps 150
castres 66
llanelli scarlets 750
sale sharks 500
benetton treviso 7500

Can Glasgow top their pool even though they are the least favoured? Will Racing Metro Finally click in a group that looks very passable. Will anyone get more than 16 points out of Pool 4?

Pool 1- Clermont Auvergne (6/4), Saracens (13/8), Munster (9/2), Sharks (66)
Pool 2- Leinster (4/6), Harlequins (11/2), Wasps (7), Castres (10)
Pool 3- Toulon (8/15), Ulster (21/5), Leicester (11/2), Llanelli Scarlets (100)
Pool 4- Toulouse (11/5), Montpellier (5/2), Bath (10/3), Glasgow (7)
Pool 5- Northampton (4/5), Racing Metro (15/8), Ospreys (8), Treviso (1000)

Oh you would assume incorrectly. One of the best in the game.

This Sarries Clermont game is a cracker. Some quality finishing so far.

Sloppy enough as well. Both look a hell of a lot stronger than the best of Sale V Munster anyway :~

The question now is how will the notoriously fragile ASM psyche deal with the no-try - try turnaround just there

The standard of commentary on BT is fantastic. Flatman and Dawson are very good analysts, unlike most of the rubbish on SKY. Clermont and Sarries look like they are going to destroy Munster.

You must be joking. They sound like a bunch of guys standing at the bar with pints in hand. A constant stream of comments phrased as questions and almost no knowledge of the laws of the game. As for Healy - one of the most annoying gits ever to be involved in broadcast rugby.

Sky have intelligence and analysis and actually commentate on what's happening on the pitch, rather than their preconceived notions of how good the English teams are going to be against any opposition

I have to agree.. hate the BT commentary, although the Ulster game was ok IMO.
