20,000 sellout? Wow who'd have thought rugby was such a big draw there. Was expecting 5-6k max

theres more people on the pitch than in the stands
pitch covered in snow and theyre still using a white ball
the cheerleaders at this game are the grimmest thing ever in Siberia, ever

Was really good coverage for a video stream but it must have been horrific playing in those conditions and the pitch looked like concrete. On the plus side I think they won't require the ice bath!simonokeeffe wrote:sorry, I got it via balls.ie tweeting it, was really hard to follow between white ball on snow and host broadcasterrooster wrote:Thanks, hard to find through that EPRC sitedave13 wrote:https://t.co/0bdATTdnWn

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
yeah the ball was barely bouncing, kicks didnt seem to travel properly either
not sure if this is good or bad but Brive beat Newcastle 13-9 in France, Newcastle sent over their second so they dont seem to be giving a hoot and cant see that changing with them in a relegation battle, favourites to be relegated
Brive are going well in Top14 but would be amazed if they did anything more than try in the home games
Connacht, Gloucester, Quinns, Edinburgh look like the only teams capable of winning it who might give a monkeys about it
Likely home draw for Connacht in a quarter final will help

Connacht now stuck overnight in Siberia due to a technical fault with their plane

Glad Henshaw didn't travel, Murray Kinsella put up a photo of McGinty's hair being frozen as he lined up a kick earlier, crazy.
Actually, Henshaw not travelling is good indication that he's a bit different to everyone else there and could do with moving, must be odd to be the one guy given special treatment. I know he wasn't the only absentee for today but as a general point obviously he's treated a bit differently to everyone else.

The real Dave would have mentioned the year where Brian O'Driscoll didn't play any games in Donnybrook
