Much better news for Warriors. They could play them twice in close succession without either player, if we do our homework properly......and then they could face us, possibly having played Ulster away and home in close succession. IMO, bookies would suggest advantage Warriors.

Advantage Glasgow. We need to win in Ulster to top the League. Then we can sit back and watch Connacht and Glasgow knock the chyte out of eachother while we go at Ulster again in the RDS.

Lose in Ulster and we are at best 2nd and will play probably Connacht.

Both tens back in the squad is a huge boost in light of the other injuries they've picked up. Still big losses though.

Connacht will be away in the S/Fs
Glasgow will be top of the table by end of play tonight.

Wasn't expecting that. It looked to me like Fitzgibbon handed that comeback to Treviso, lots of poor decisions that helped claw Connacht back. Not that they didn't make a lot of mistakes themselves anyway. The scrum was really poor and there were lots of other mistakes too, think they tried to play too much rugby under pressure too.

The backs were very poor defensively, can't help but feel the coaching is poor in that regard and they could do a better job of developing players. It showed how much they rely on Aki and you can't just rely so much on an NIQ like that.

I'm not sure the person you're hoping will reply to this checks this thread. Maybe stick it on the end of the 'MOC out' thread and you might get a  .

If you're lucky.

Historic but....... That is a huge slip up that could cost them their home semi and a real shot at the title.

Pat Lam and his Squad have come too far to slip at this point. They really have to think hard now what outcome they want. Unless Ulster go mad, Connacht look like 3rd which could mean two games against Warriors, the second on in Scotstoon. So they must try to regroup and throw the kitchen sink at Warriors next week in the Sportground. Warriors would still be the opposition in s/f, but at least it would be Sportsground.

Tough week ahead.
