Not strictly the right thread but great to see Jeremy Davidson's Aurillac go two points clear today at top of Pro D2 in France. Big spenders Lyon are in 2nd and re ently relegated Bayonne in 3rd. Tbeir coach-less neighbours Biarritz are stuck firmly in last place.

How quickly the mighty can fall in sports.

Biarritz can still survive, because 5 or 6 teams are rather weak.

And if Biarritz doesn't, the FFR can do what they done this year with Lille...

Big win for Grenoble at the weekend v Toulon. Jackman making a name for himself as a coach.

All the Toulon players were playing the WRC. When they are back they will win all the games until the next WRC.

I particularly enjoyed the last Asm's try

That's fine, that's their enormous post-Wasps backlash already out of the way before they play us then.

Saw some of it. It wasn't so much that ASM were bad....

Rumoured that his bonus scheme is to be paid in Doughnuts & furniture corner cushions. :)

Some turn around for a young lad on the verge of depression & attempted suicide.

Great win for Clermont away to Toulon at weekend. Only a point in it at the end but try scored at the death (Chouly I think) and convert kicked. Jonno still delivering for Clermont.

Top 4 now away and clear 9 points ahead of Toulouse and Bordeaux who both slipped up - 3rd bad weekend in a row for Bordeaux - and allowed Castres to re-connect with play-off posse.

However, for those who assume that quality of Top 14 is miles ahead of Pro12, relax, only about two games per weekend are anything other than a forward slug fest with little open play on view.

Top 14 quality is more poor as you can imagine.

Happy to see Montferrand back after its European fall. But what can we do later vs the "Tri Racing" Championship Teams (South "Racing" Club Toulon, North Racing Métro, Sudaf Monpellier HéraultBocks "Racing")?

It will be ugly, mad, bloody, and we will all be about to die!

Well GT thinks the Top 14 is far superior, per his article today. Maybe he just means as a money generating machine...

The grass is always greener elsewhere for Dexy. The best league to watch in the world right now is the premiership [washing my filthy fingers after typing that].
it has the finest balance of bludgen:blitz.
The Super 12+6 is great for pace, but so is league and the leeway given to attacking sides/forward passes is just pants- Its a different game to what we play.
The Top 14 is utter shite, two muscle cars pushing each other, spinning wheels, until pop goes a tyre and the least fit team gets shoved backwards.
The Pro 12's well we know what we're getting there, a league undermined by the unions.

Hello,

I am a french Racing 92 supporter and will be visiting Dublin in the next few days.
Do you have any idea of a place where I can get a chance to watch Racing vs Clermont on sunday (at 3pm)?

Any other advice regarding my stay in Dublin will be appreciated too :)

Thanks !

Stall,Sky Sport 4 are carrying Racing 92 v Clermont at 15.10 pm on the Red Button (optional channel service). There are many Pubs or Rugby Clubs where this game will be shown and your Hotel Reception will direct you to best options local to your Hotel.

Beware that the majority of Sports Bars wil probably be showing Leicester v Man Utd or our local sport Hurling National League Final, both of which will start at about the same time. Good luck.
