That would be interesting actually. He's of course Irish qualified, but will not be playing for Ireland again. Therefore what would the difference really be between signing him or Pienaar from an IQ pov?

I think you'll manage at 9. Cooney is good and Lloyd has impressed in his couple of starts for Munster in the Pro12. That young lad has a bit about him.

However, the ideal mix would have been Cooney, Pienaar and Lloyd IMO.

Pienaar on a lot more money, I'd say. IQ and possible international aren't the same thing

Common sense seems to have prevailed and we have dumped the Arno Botha signing for next season over dodgy knee issues, probably find another dodgy one to replace him now.
