Did the Telegraph mention the Battle of Beachy Head in 1690? The French won that one in a stroll. Given the score at the match its a much more appropriate case.

It's exactly what I'd expect from sailors :D Athough I am surprised they weren't mullered at the time.

Surely they didn't need to go back that far to find the British scuttling a French fleet?
