Indo reporting Munster have been officially told they can keep one of their NIQ centres and they want Taute

Yea saw that. For what it's worth I thought saili at least brings a bit of creativity in midfield taute is slow and ponderous on the ball. So I think they might be backing the wrong horse. Or maybe with more attractive clubs vying for sailis attention he wants out of Munster too.

Sail isn't settled and hasn't been starting often enough. Between cost, injuries and the fact that fans haven't warmed to him especially I see Erasmus as thinking he can spend the money better elsewhere.

For a club in England or France with cash, he'd be a good signing because his stock is down a little right now, but he's still a class player

Saili missed most of the season with injury tbf (which is why Taute was signed) and then he hadnt much chance to find form off the bench but Rassie does clearly favour/feels safe with Taute

Am crossing threads a bit know but remaining question is do they get another NIQ for next season or does TB count as their fourth?

if Rassie doesnt want to build on it (the gameplan) then it makes sense, though I'd prefer Farrell to start as hes eligible for the national team

Will Ulster hang on to him now or make use of him? Even though theyre keeping Marshall they need to invest in someone in addition to Cooney

Lloyd was good. Really impressive performance. He does the basics well, which imo is crucial for a 9.

It was more like a game of super rugby than a traditional Irish affair. Offloads aplenty, end to end, few scrums and line outs. Munster played some good rugby. Connacht defence was like a sieve but Munster took advantage by putting together some lovely attacking moves. More of that next season, please!

Be interesting to see who they go for is say it'll be confirmed in the next week or two if they're given leeway for an NIQ/project 2nd row someone like Ruan Botha could be decent or an Irish qualified albeit under contract with scarlets is Tadgh Beirne who has had a great season so far. In terms of backrow I wonder is Dominic Ryan being looked at other Irish qualified options that could be worth a punt are lorcan dow and kelvin brown the ideal would've been sean dougall or paddy butler but they've signed contract extensions with PAU.
