Re: Connacht 2016/17
God Munster should destroy Toulouse in Thomond in the QF. See Wasps sipped 3 tries to Zebre while qualifying - happy to take them on in the QF. QF sound go to the home teams but think Glasgow are dark horse
Re: Connacht 2016/17
Connacht will be kicking themselves for an awful first half in which they abandoned their gameplan, kicked too much and couldn't catch a ball to save their lives. Once they started playing in the second half they gave themselves a chance but the composure was lacking.
Toulouse are garbage, terrible halves and no kicker. Munster will beat them by 20+ points

Nigel Carolan effectively rules himself out of the Connacht Manager's job in an interview with the 42.

Supposedly he's working for the WRU now and while it's only a short term contract I can't see him coming.the Fiji coach
@kermischocolate
It's the Fijian 7's coach who coached Fiji to gold at the Olympics. Can't remember the name.

He would be an outstanding signing for Connacht and would probably suit them and be able to build on the type of game they are currently used to.

Some absolutely brilliant rugby from Connacht to beat Cardiff! Blew some great chances but TOH stepped up brilliantly for the winning drop goal.
Special mention to Blade for his break down the right to set up the chance.

Re: Connacht 2016/17
their next 3 games look like handy BP wins
problem is after that theyve 5 absolute pigs and have a 13 point gap to bridge, euro playoffs beckon me thinks
The play-offs will include the following clubs:
The seventh-ranked club from the TOP 14, or the winner of the Challenge Cup if from the TOP 14 and not already qualified for the Champions Cup.
The seventh-ranked club from the Aviva Premiership, or the winner of the Challenge Cup if from the Aviva Premiership and not already qualified for the Champions Cup.
The eight and ninth-ranked clubs from the PRO12, or the winner of the Challenge Cup if from the PRO12 and not already qualified for the Champions Cup. This club will take the place in the play-offs of the ninth-ranked club.
19-21 May 2017
Play-off 1: Aviva Premiership v PRO12
Play-off 2: TOP 14 v PRO12
The PRO12 clubs' opponents to be decided by a draw
The Premiership and TOP 14 clubs will have home advantage
26-28 May 2017
Play-off Final: winner Play-off 1 v winner Play-off 2
Home advantage to be decided by a draw
The winner of the Play-off Final will take the 20th place in the 2017/18 Champions Cup
