My ex-cousin in-law (long story, french) used to play for CASG, just pinged him there on facebook about this, he hadn't heard.

His reply consisted of rude words.

All over twitter, apparently being announced this afternoon.

Do the French do April Fools on March 13th?

Does that not mess up the top13? Or maybe the Pro D2?

Grenoble in 13th will no longer be automatically relegated, instead will face a playoff v the side who loses the Pro D2 playoff final apparently. Pro D2 1st and winner of 2nd-5th playoff still go up as normal, Bayonne in 14th still go down.

as pointed out theyve both won leagues last couple of years, would be like Sarries and Quinns merging, dont see the point other than megalomania and profiteering on behalf of owners, puts a lot of quality players on the transfer market too, also half the staff in general at both clubs to lose their jobs

I think you've just identified the point! Crazy stuff, Paris should be able to support two clubs.

Possibly, I'm not sure I could face the prospect of agreeing with my father!

But Leinster and Munster play in different cities.
You've only to look at the difficulties Munster on their own had with their two centre problem (Limerick /Cork).
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

I don't think Munster would be up for merging with us. The politics of it would mean they'd have to split training between here and Limerick and a professional organisation wouldn't allow that to happen.

Fairly sure there is only PSG in Ligue 1 in football - its a Paris thing more than a rugby thing. Seems mad to do it now - when they nearly have two new stadia - would have assumed they would need some approval for this?

PSG is itself an amalgamated (and subsequently divided) club

I thought they were flush with the money and the money would money money money etc.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles
