Your bitterness is so so sweet.tomthefan wrote:Leinster did yeah. Leinster thus had the Lions share of the private rugby playing schools. That's what Leinster got so right and you can thank the Jesuits and the other orders and successive administrations for that. Leinster rugby, nah.

The mod, wiped it all but it went something like
He saying that despite the verdict that Paddy Jackson was guilty of a wrongdoing.
I then said something like he couldn't infer that PJ was guilty of a crime
when he'd been found not guilty.
Mod went ballistic said he'd never said that and banned me.
Thereafter he switched to using the formulation "wrong doing" lest there be doubt.
It was comical really.
The thing is that on MF there's a core group who all know each other from way back
from matches and socialising and away trips, you probably know the clique as well as I do.
Some of those people are very abusive on the forum but never get censured.
However replying to them in kind, even in much
milder tones brings you the unwelcome attention of the mods.

Wait your saying that the MF forum is nothing more than a bunch of Ferret's biting and rutting in a sack together? How out of character for them...by Tomthefan

it's mainly very nice, actually, very little controversy.sunshiner1 wrote: Wait your saying that the MF forum is nothing more than a bunch of Ferret's biting and rutting in a sack together? How out of character for them...
Criticism of players or club are very mild and very cautiously worded, everyone is on-message on social and political opinions. It's all good.

I consider it my provincial duty to get banned from there at regular intervals. One such ban was for suggesting that Christian Cullen was a poor signing as he has lost his speed by the time he went to Munster.
On another note are there any economists on here that can answer this question. About one third of the population live in Dublin and this increases if we take in the commuter counties of Louth, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath. So how much as a percentage of GDP gets spent on Dublin. I suspect its not as much as those that like to suggest that Dublin gets everything would like to suggest. I would be interested to see a breakdown of Government spending by county though. Hmmm if only someone could invent a search engine.... I suppose I could check at the Irish Patents Office, that's bound to be in Dublin after all it gets everything.... Oh wait....

Re: Munster 2017 -2018
There's one member on there who views it as his task to check out every newbie.
I wasn't on there long before he was suggesting I'd been there before, you seem very familiar,
all that kind of nonsense.
Finally he came out and accused me of being a particular previously banned member.
The idea presumably was to get an admission and get banned again.

Re: Munster 2017 -2018
Anyway, on the distribution of resources and in order to give the Munster lads (another) dig-out, we could resurrect the fifth ancient Provence. The downside is that this would give us a provence with about one county in it, on the plus side it would mean that Meath wouldn't be in Leinster.
