Thanks! Pity they don't have the depth to just rest him, hope they don't make it worse.

Is that the worst looking front 5 Munster have ever started for a Euro game? 6-15 looks good though. Would certainly have Conway in however.Dave Cahill wrote:Munster: Simon Zebo; Darren Sweetnam, Chris Farrell, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Tyler Bleyendaal, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer; Mark Flanagan, Billy Holland; Peter O’Mahony Capt., Tommy O’Donnell, CJ Stander.
Replacements: Rhys Marshall, Liam O’Connor, John Ryan, Robin Copeland, Jack O’Donoghue, Duncan Williams, Ian Keatley, Andrew Conway.
Looks weak.

Killer is vastly experienced and Scannell is second best hooker in Irelandwixfjord wrote:Is that the worst looking front 5 Munster have ever started for a Euro game? 6-15 looks good though. Big game today.
Really hope Munster can pull it off.
Munster's biggest problem recently has being maintaining intensity since the rumours and announcement of Rassie's departure.
They've managed it to a degree unlike Connacht, whose intensity fell off a cliff after Lam announced his departure.
Having a replacement appointed may help.

Munster very very lucky. Zebo should have been binned for deliberate knock on. With Murray already there they would have been under huge pressure.

Chris Farrell continues with the stupid. They can do with Taute back.
Re: Munster 2017 -2018
For the last 20 minutes both sides looked equally tired. Draw was the likely result but could have gone either way.

Awful game. Some really braindead stuff from Munster throughout the whole game.

Some pretty shocking discipline/professional fouls on display there today. Could have been a TBP of penalty tries which is amazing. I know a lot in Munster will be singing doom but it's an away draw in France. Castres traditionally start out better than they finish and are a different proposition at home. I'd still say Munster will take them for a BP win at home.

Yeah, plenty of views (legitimate or carping) can be offered on that- but still a good result for Munster TOD makes a real difference for them in open field. Well done!

Completely agree! Very lucky to come away with a draw. Kilcoyne and Copeland very fortunate to be on the pitch after their infringements. That was a cr@p performance, and if they don't improve in a lot of areas, they'll be found out! muck!!jimbobjoe wrote:Awful game. Some really braindead stuff from Munster throughout the whole game.

How Zebo wasn't carded in the first half is beyond me! As blatant a try saving slap down as you'll see!
Re: Munster 2017 -2018
I'm not sure about that one. It looked like Zebo had his arms open wide before the ball hit his hand. If it was intentional he did well to hide it. However, I thought Munster had a lucky day with the ref.wixfjord wrote:How Zebo wasn't carded in the first half is beyond me! As blatant a try saving slap down as you'll see!

A mediocre performance but we will take the two points and hope a good arse kicking for almost the entire team will reap the benefits next week onwards

He had one lamh way out in front and slapped the ball forward, stopping a certain try.rookie wrote:I'm not sure about that one. If Murray wasn't already in the bin, it was a guaranteed yellow!

Re: Munster 2017 -2018
didnt know refs still bothered with that carp of I cant bin a player cos they already have one in the bin, second one was a penalty try all day long too, not often you say this but a SH ref would have binned both and given at least one penalty trywixfjord wrote:He had one lamh way out in front and slapped the ball forward, stopping a certain try.rookie wrote:I'm not sure about that one. Realistically, Munster got more than they deserved but 2 points away from home is gold dust in this tournament.RAILWAY1 wrote:A mediocre performance but we will take the two points and hope a good arse kicking for almost the entire team will reap the benefits next week onwards
If Munster win their home games and pick up 2/3 bps along the way then they'll qualify for the Q/Fs.
They looked tired against Castres, you'd wonder did they over train during the week in reaction to the Leinster performance.
The rest of the week should be about R&R and a good talking to the dumb heads giving away dumb ass penos.

Re: Munster 2017 -2018
Scannell and Bleyendaal 'going for scans'. Tyler on his neck which doesn't sound good.
Grobler and Kleyn still out too.
Munster could be up against it at the weekend. That Racing side has bad memories of Thomond but Munster don't look in good form at all, and could be putting out a pack with Kilcoyne, Marshall, Archer, Flanagan and Holland against Ben Arous, The Pornstar, Johnston, Nakarawa and Carizza.
Will need all the 'intensity' they can muster.
Dulin and Carter back for Racing too. Should be a good game.
