agree with you 100% on Ronaldson
I never thought Griffin was any good at 13 in his first spell, he played 12 for a while before he left and he seemed to go far better
Griffin was decent when he first came through but then saw the writing on the wall when Henshaw was mooted for centre and left for London Irish where he picked up injury after injury. It seems some of them left a permanent marker because he's lost a lot of pace and him and Aki just don't seem to click.
Aki is a marked man so to speak
Like Nick Williams in second Ulster season

Similar to Aki, on the face of it.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Tom McCartney is now IQ but hasn't being called up by Schmidt which I understand but the guy is a serious player. What do you guys think? Would you call him into the squad?

Hes got iffy throwing so hes definitely IQ
He seems to me to be missing a fair few games and maybe maybe they dont want too many projects but I doubt that has a bearing
Hes 5th choice at worst and we have one or two injured.

He's just turned 32 too. Not that that is particularly old for a hooker but it's pretty old to be making an international debut.
He's a very good player and I would have him 3rd or 4th on the depth chart but I've a feeling that IRFU would prefer to limit project caps for players who are either exceptionally good or are pretty good with enough time or potential to become exceptionally good.
McCartney is not as good as he was this season but I'd still call him into the squad for a look see just to get him acquainted with calls. All it takes is one or two bad injuries and he's on the train up potentially.

The wrong option everytime they get a sniff.
