Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
Anyone any idea when they will fix the remaining games this season? Specifically our game v ospreys. 23/4/5 of March.
Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
Treviso have beaten the Dragons 15-18.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

Dragons probably should have won this one.paddyor wrote:Treviso have beaten the Dragons 15-18.
Kirchner had a nightmare with his kicking - 100% missed.
In fact Kirchner had a nightmare full stop.
He had a kick blocked down for their first try under the posts.
In the 66 min the ref gave an appalling peno to Bennetton.
Dragons play ran into his own player, who hadn't moved, and the ref judged this as crossing.
This decision was just awful, a lot worse than Welsh no try last weekend.
The Pro14 really needs to do something about improving the standard of refereeing.
Better training and reward package might encourage more applications

Treviso 8th out of 14 teams on points
Retired from babbling. Can be found on twittter @okeeffesimon
Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
Both Italian teams win on the road on the same weekend. Is that a first?
Bradley must have enjoyed the win in Connacht I'd say.

Treviso have won 1 less game than Ulster this season

Won't be surprised if they catch us before the end of the seasonjohng wrote:Treviso have won 1 less game than Ulster this season

And Munster, although Ulster have lost less games than Munster have.johng wrote:Treviso have won 1 less game than Ulster this season
Watching the end of that game today, it was all Benetton. Zebre too were good for their win.

Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
Crowley has done just the sort of job I hoped he would do with Treviso as has Bradley with Zebre, although with luck, he might have grabbed 2/3 more wins.
These are two guys who can optimise the skills available whilst putting sufficient defensive discipline in place to strenthen any team.
If both Italians could get a decent start, both with fixtures and results, we might see confidence and results grow, followed shortly thereafter by supporters and sponsors. They're not far away and certainly no further than Connacht in 2012-13 at the end of Pat Lam's first season. Qualifying for the Champions Cup is a realistic target for both, but perhaps not this season for Zebre.

You're exaggerating. That's only been said 34 million times.Dave Cahill wrote:For the 70 millionth time - those are the host broadcasters, not necessarily who will be showing the gamebrenno wrote:Saturday 24th March

Incidentally, can anyone tell me if it's possible to get BBC Wales on a Sky box?

Here is a list of some of the channels

If you do a search on this (leinsterfans) forum you'll find the settings for BBC Wales and BBC Alba

Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
Also, this has been posted before, but if you change your sky box default language to Welsh it has no effect whatsoever.
Except that S4C defaults to the English language stream (if there is on) and you can record and pause the game, in English, as normal

That was an attempt at a joke about things that have been asked 34 million times.

Lyng Sat is a very good source for Transponder info.

If you have a freesat box you can record the likes of BBC Wales but there is a fair bit of knowledge required.
