Tommy Bowe - A Legend.

Post by Oldschool »

Tommy Bowe is retiring.
A true legend and a nice man to boot.
EOS discovered him and many (a few, if you prefer) us doubted this particular selection.
Tommy, however, turned out to be pure gold.
Big, powerful, skilful, brave and quick, very quick.
The perfect professional.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

I have fond memories of impulsively shouting supportive expletives at the tv in the Europa Hotel in Belfast as he scored in the Grand Slam game, much to the dismay of the people having their afternoon tea beside me
Retired from babbling. Can be found on twittter @okeeffesimon

Aye.
Played a huge part in popularising the game in the noughties. The women loved him.
Lot's of tries and big performances.
Thanks Tommy.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Yeah great picture. As was noted, Tommy was always popular with the ladies. But that wasn’t just “some women”, it was the Aussie women’s rugby team. BOD in his Seanie-trolling manifestation had a series of nice Tweets on those pictures.

And now Tommy’s left the stage. Good luck Man.
