Don't think Munster were the better team but they deserved their win.
Never gave in.
POM's decision making was poor.
Loughman for Kilcoyne was the coaching decision of the game. Joe Schmidt take note, you may not fancy Jack anymore but Killer isn't the answer.
Congrats to Munster, well done, very well done.
So two Irish teams into the HEC S/Fs.
Saracens v Munster probably.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Absolutely blessed to win that!

As I've said before, I don't think a pressure game with lots of kicking and little in the way of back play is enough to beat the best sides.

Embra almost did enough today and Sarries will test it even more.

Beautiful finish from Earls btw.

Tyler Bleyendal is a class player, shame his career has been so badly disrupted with injury.

Good contest. Edinburgh not that savvy at this level. When Beirne got carded they had a platform attacking 2-3m out. Open side around the corner there was a tight formation with John Ryan and other tight forwards ready to deal with pick and drive. Against the grain was setup for pass and Scannell was isolated close to the ruck. Edinburgh didn’t even need to pass wide, just changing direction would have been highly favourable.

They passed on it for a few phases and lost a turnover. And eventually a try down the other end. They did later get another chance and they picked out Murray and Carbery defending a one-out zone with no help.

Just saw the highlights. How Munster weren't called back for Murray's pro-wrestling move on the Edinbrugh 9 is beyond me. Can understand why the Edinbrugh captain was so incensed.

How did Murray play generally? Has his performance improved from Ireland?

His passing is a bit more consistent but kicking is still off.

Don't know what he was thinking with the tackle on Pygros but Pygros wouldn't have been able to tackle Earls as he was not 10m back when the quick tap was taken.

Murray also took the ball out of the scrum and put it back before Pyrgos tackled him.

Which is funny if you get away with it. Maybe it will be a "hand of Murray" moment for them and talked about for decades after...

Half of me thinks Munster might just be able to pull off a result against Saracens. They've got a sort of surging unpredictability about them and an ability to sort of come in waves. They're definitely more unpredictable under van Graan than they were under Erasmus. Ferreira's defence is top-notch too.

But then again, Saracens are an exponentially smarter attacking team than Edinburgh, so it could be a blow-out. Interesting one to watch anyway.

Young Munster and Shannon must love those selections as they fight for AIL Div1A status!

To be fair, they benefit greatly from Munster moving everything to Limerick. I don't think there's too many players from limerick on the list.

Fairly sure that Y.M contingent includes:
Knox, Coombes, Tynan, Scannel B, Phillips and Kelly.

Shannon have AIL & McMullan Cup (AI U.20) games this weekend and will miss:
Clarke and Stafford.

The face-off in Yellowbrick Rd tomorrow evening will be interesting.

Munster: Mike Haley; Andrew Conway, Chris Farrell, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Tyler Bleyendaal, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Kevin O’Byrne, John Ryan; Jean Kleyn, Billy Holland; Peter O’Mahony (C), Chris Cloete, Arno Botha.
Replacements: Niall Scannell, Jeremy Loughman, Stephen Archer, Tadhg Beirne, CJ Stander, Alby Mathewson, JJ Hanrahan, Sammy Arnold.

You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

They did it again tonight. Won with 6 tries having played like drains for middle 40 mins. In fact, their power and support lines in final 20 mins would give Sarries a run.
