Intrigued by the Official Notice on page 21 of IT today (27th Sept), a High Court Petition for the winding-up of Munster Football Club Ltd from Joseph Howley, Collector General of the Revenue Commissioners in Limerick. Petition to be heard on 22nd Oct before the High Court.
Any info out there? Certainly be surprised if it is rugby connected. But how did anybody get to use this, august and revered name? And what did this Company do before it came into the public eye in this unfortunate manner?

Nothing to do with rugby and is related to Limerick FC afaik
