I notice you have Eir Sport 2 there, I only noticed at the weekend that that seems to have disappeared from Sky. Did I just miss it or has it been rebadged as Premier Sports or something? Noticed that I have the Virgin Sport channel as well.

Eir have replaced the BT Sports channels in their package with the Virgin Sports Channels. However, for Sky viewers, as Eir only have two slots, they have replaced Eir Sports 2 with Virgin Media Sports. Which is not what I paid for - I have no interest in Virgin Media Sports

It's getting a bit ridiculous now with the constant changes to which broadcaster is showing games and what package or hardware you need to access them.

The only option for Eir customers with Sky to access Eir Sport 2 seems to be through the Eir Sport app and either watch on a mobile device or cast it to your TV. The Eir Sport app has a rating of 1.7 in the Play Store.

I don't pay for sky sports either. I had a great deat to move from virgin business to virgin residential. But they won't let me keep my business number so it's a no deal. Will figure something out eventually. Away this weekend and the next few are home games.

Anyone know what the criteria are as to whether a pro14 game goes on eir sport 1 or 2? And will it go on 1 eventually if it is live on 2.

Seeing as people who subscribe on sky and virgin customers will only have es1 it will become a problem for a lot of us.

Ditching multi room on sky and getting virgin tv ended up costing me 12.50 extra to have both sky and virgin tv inc eir sport rather than 30 bucks to get just eir sport on sky.
