£1.2m sponsorship deal for Ulster

Michael Reid has welcomed the new sponsorship deal
Ulster have received a massive cash injection in the region of £1.2m in a sponsorship deal with Bank of Ireland.
The three-year agreement represents the first ever seven figure sponsorship of a sports team in Northern Ireland.

Michael Reid, Ulster Rugby Chief Executive, was delighted after the deal was announced on Thursday morning.

He said: "This ground-breaking deal, which is a big step forward for Ulster, highlights the strong relationship between sport and business."

Only in Ireland would you get the mostly UK team sponsored by an Irish bank and the all Irish team sponsored by a UK bank.
