And you've done so well in the HEC knock-out stages yourselves. Image

We don't claim to be the greatest team in the world, when in fact we've won nothing that hasn't already been won by other irish provinces.

Any supporter would say that the team they support is the best in the world, 'tis only natural.

And I have never claimed to have any monopoly on anything.

No it's more just lying to yourself.

This thread is in the wrong section. It should be the other teams section.

So that means you don't think Leinster are the best team in the world?

I think they're currently up there. They haven't been at certain times in the recent past, but I certainly think the current Leinster side have nothing to fear from anyone at any level of the game.

However, as a fan, I can recognise that at times in the not too distant past, we certainly were not the best team in the world, at times we were even lucky to be in the top 4 teams in ireland. Being a supporter also means going to enough of your team's games to realise where your strengths and limitations lie.

Don't think they're the best team i nthe world no. We're a good team, but we're not the finished article. This season has certainly exceeded my expectations.

Like many I just don't buy all this guff about ligindry support from Turnipstan. The guys who show up week in week out are the Gringos - the average Celtic gate at Ravers is 4000 higher than us and Turnipstan.

Sure, away support counts, but I have to say that sitting in 20 degree heat sipping a cold beer in Toulouse was hardly a massive sacrifice for me. standing on the terrace watching Padua on one of the coldest day's since the ice age on a pitch made of sand, WAS a sacrifice. It was fockin miserable.

AS for failure, whether glorious or otherwise its still failure. And I personally, don't regard Munster's failure to beat a patched up Saints team in the final as glorious.
