Joey has to go to province A, B or C to play 10. f%~k off with you. Develop your own players. My rant is whenever it appears Leinster have a young tyro perceived as being held up by incumbent the meeja, and opposition fans start chiming in with "oh they must go there for development"; or I don't know they could learn from the best and then usurp the king. Going to rinky dink backwater clubs is a step in the wrong direction

Agree, it's like listening to advice from that serpent in the garden of Eden.

There would be a delicious irony if the Taoiseach, now somewhat under a cloud, had the 'cojones' to appoint Alan Shatter as Special Counsel to the Independent Investigation of the Dept of Justice and Equality.

A man who was erroneously hounded out of politics by the Dept of Justice and others, a man who has acute political experience and a forensic legal mind, coupled with vast Constitutional experience of governance and legal process. A man who is of a minority background but dedicated to opposing the organs of State in defence of individual rights.

It never ceases to amaze me how great ideas are brewed over a couple of pints!

As an aside Shatter left Matt Cooper looking less than pleased with his final few renarks on the Matt and Ivan show the other night.
A real example of he who laughs last laughs loudest.

I enjoyed S1 Lithgow as Churchill was brilliant. S2 is a soap opera though. I just can't emote for those people.

Well once she doesn't try and implement said opulent lifestyle in the Robohouse you're ok. Otherwise you could come home to find all manner from water features to exotic wildlife installed. And guess who will be the one shoveling the partridge shite? You! and that's aside from the inevitable pigeon handlers lung.

I'm with Pegleg: to my great surprise I enjoyed series one. I watched three episodes of series 2 (I didn't enjoy the first of season one so I thought I'd give it a chance) and I hate, hate, hate it.

It doesn't help that the toddler fantasists promoting Brexit (I'm thinking of the failed mayoral candidate Goldsmith) by suggesting relaunching the "royal yacht" to project British power think that the Kardashian like popularity of soi disant "royalty" internationally somehow legitimates their wet dreams about their failed empire.
EDIT

Surely pigeons are too working class and urban for that shower? The English queen in the series is all about horses and stag hunting on her estates in Scotland.

Quite! Seems that a swarm of brexshit loving quitlings are off to give M. Barnier a hamper of 'british' produce to remind him of the power of GB (they need us more than we need them!). The comments section of the torygraph went in meltdown swooning over this laughable gesture. I suggested that if they hang around for a bit, they could get their hamper back when the bins are taken out.

This is my rant for the day.

Pigeon breeding used to be a very upper class pursuit. Darwin used the example of artificial selection in pigeons in chapter 1 of the Origins in order to get society onside with the idea of variation before he unleashed natural selection on them. Clever chap that Darwin.
