A lot of companies are feeling the credit crunch.
The money is slow to come in.
They're falling behind in tax payments.
The revenue are playing hardball, because their political masters, having screwed things up royally, are desperate for cash and are putting the squeeze on.
The result of this cycle is that more people will go on the dole, than have to, making the revenue situation worse and making the spending situation worse - a double whammy.
The Banks have been bailed out for now.
The government, the department and the revenue now need to think very, very, very, very carefully about what they do next or we'll all find ourselves in whole lot more of the proverbial.
I never thought I'd ever see this day, but we are very, very, very, very close to the precipice, both natioanlly and internationally.
We should make every effort not to make it worse locally.
The first thing we need is for the governement to declare a national emergency and to try to form a national government.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
