Fock the Shelbourne and their €5 pints, lousy cr@p bar service and their stupid idiotic policy of refusing to give cashback when you pay by laser card, (which must be a security issue - would have thought they'ld be delighted to get rid of the readies for paper dockets that go straight into their bank account). It's the Beggars for me. :D

That's nothing. Went into the Beggars Bush to watch the munster game before our Clermont encounter in Lansdowne Road. A pint of Guinness in there costs €3.85
I kid you not. When I looked amazed and asked the Barman about it, he said the recession and all that, and then went on to tell me that if I was an Old Age Pensioner it would be 50c less, i.e. €3.35
This recession is great :D
As long as I've lived in Dublin they have been known as having one of the cheapest pints in Dublin. I can stumble home from Beggars bush :D
And one of the best quality ones too. . .it was a pleasure to return during November.

Anyone who drives a Volkswagen (and who has a match or season ticket) can park in Simmonscourt for free tomorrow.

Typically, the clutch is gone in my car (a Passat) and we'll be driving the OH's Vitara to the match for quite possibly the first time ever...

The wife has a VW, but it's not much good unless they can guarantee a cop free run home afterwards (while full of the black stuff).

Bargain on Irish Rugby jerseys at €20 with free delivery in Ireland.

Open a new account and you can use discount code XV410 to give you a 10% discount - reducing the jersey by €2 to €18

Looks like they're all sold out. Nice price, though!

€3.75 for pints of Rebel Red before the game in Pady Cullens last night! If you can get over drinking a red beer from Cork before heading to a Leinster match this is great value.
Its a by-pass. You've got to build by-passes.

Spend more than £40 at www.kitbag.com and get free delivery (even to Ireland). .. not as much rugby gear as Lovells or Rugbystore but if they have what you need (and its not avaliable here) its worth saving the postage costs (which can sometimes be high).
