The judge said she would have to deal with the matter.
So let me get this straight - they didn't bother to show up in court today but you couldn't get them out of the bloody place up to this point? I assume they'll be appealing this for the next five years.

With the on-going fall out coverage from both sides do you think this should be in the rant section?

Sun is out, wind is up. Grand day for laundry. I've got my pillows in the wash already.

99% invisible podcast #91 wild ones live.
The podcast in general is an exceptional exploration of the built environment, narrated by the most alluring voice in the business, Roman Mars.
This episode however is a piece from Jon Mooallems "wild ones" book tour, put to music by black prairie (think firefly intro music/american folk). Its a "weirdly reassuring story about looking at people looking at animals in america".

Its the only podcast episode i have ever listened to more than once. Good positive start to the weekend.

Could you expand on "husky", please?
Could "agricultural" work as a substitute there?

It's a polite way of saying fat arses rejoice, you too can cram yourself into a pair of Levi's.

They're actually very nice. I've found it increasingly difficult to get a pair of jeans that fit because of the skinny jeans affliction. They're not the loose loose variety either as they taper. Had to order them from the states mind.

Having been to the states recently and tried on jeans there. I found that the choices were either skinny or balloon seat. The 541s sound like the answer

For once doing a DIY job that didn't require frequent use of anglo saxon expletives.
On time and within budget too.

Tomorrow will be my last day in the job I've had for 12 years.
I will be starting a new job on Monday far closer to home and I won't have to spend over 3 hours of my day commuting. 8)

Well done. I had a commute half that size and it was wrecking my buzz. Sorted now though. Best of luck also.

Todays Rave is for JohnG
johng wrote:Mental how hard it was to get tickets at first, and currently there are tickets available for all but 5 of 48 games.

Good strategy from the sales pov. Not so good for the punter.

As a resoult of the above post I had a look for Ireland games and we now have 2 side by side tickets for the Canada game in Cardiff.

Also big shout for MegaBus. Trip was not planned so cut price deal was required.

For anyone thinking of trying to get to game it works out like this.

Tickets = £115 for 2 including postage

Megabus from Roslare to Cardiff = £56:70 for 2 out Friday Night 8:15 and leave Cardiff Saturday night at 10pm.

€157 for tickets and €77 for bus and rail for a grand total of €234 for 2 or €117 per person we get to go to the World Cup.
