Guardians of the galaxy vol 1 & 2 is pretty good. It's a compilation but wworth it for Brandy(you're a fine girl) and "I want you back" alone.

You tapped out too early (IMHO)

Anthony O'Shaughnessy has passed away.

Who, you might ask, was Anthony O'Shaughnessy?

Anthony, as a 13 year old, had to move from his home with his family in Belfast as a result of tensions in what had previously been mixed estates, tensions formented and aided by loyalist paramilitaries. A picture taken of a bewildered Anthony was published in the the Evening Standard in London the day after, but it only became famous when it was used by Dexys Midnight Runners as the cover of their classic 1980 debut, Searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Image

Later, the 'gentleman' on the far left of the picture, almost entirely cropped out, 'helping' Anthony's younger brother was identified as Robert 'Basher' Bates - one of the Shankill Butchers

Fontaines DC getting a write-up in the beeb, interesting how the first track is about the CoE not allowing Irish on a grave stone, thankfully resolved sensibly since.

What an icon.

I saw him in Whelans before he got sick, one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to.

RIP
