AIB's next Bailout...

Post by ror »

So with AIB inching closer to oblivion and another bailout again the government's next objective is to save it without creating a "run" on one of its pillars. How will they do it so the unsuspecting public don't go into meltdown. Simple... what they will do is get the now morally acceptable vehicle which is known as IBRC to acquire the valueless Tracker Mortgages from AIB for €10b. They will then refer to these bust mortgages as "preforming and non preforming assets." They will also tell you that they will be profitable in time. And that's the from the next bailout will take, buying something worthless while telling those who will be paying that its a long term "investment".
