Not sure, but a friend works there. (She did/does a Sunday programme.)

Cutbacks, it seems. Her words were 'budget constraints and short term thinking'.

So long as powerhouse stays only decent show left, station has gotten very pop of late, not the same since they went legit. When they lost shows like the two Pete's talk rubbish they lost their way.

What a show the two Pete's was!! Only slightly ahead of the sci-fi show they ran really late at night. Name escapes me at the moment.

Pure Morning was a great show too, odd to hear it's scrapped.

Not listed as a Media Partner on ERC; never knew they did this .. or is this new? Pity they couldn't spread it out a bit to share coverage with Newstalk (who are also doing this weekend game live, I think?).

I could be wrong but I think Donny's post was following on from Peg Leg's post and referring to Newstalk's coverage rather than Phantom having live commentary.

Stadium Rock is live from the Aviva today apparently. Phantom are a media partner of Leinster Rugby (and Richie McCormack used to always give us a good mention the monday after a match)
