I would suspect that Donald is looking for muscle, size and definition, not strength per se.
My main goal is to gain upper body muscle in biceps, triceps, shoulders and neck, chest and abs.
......in order to increase muscle size.
GOMAD would have most of us mere mortals (who don't have the time to best use that amount of calories & fat) just expand in a morbidly obese sort of way.

I could be wrong though, Donald could well be dead considering his input on this thread!!

This advice is for ectomorphs otherwise known as "hard gainers" those of us who are endomorphs would just bloat on it.

Also you would have to "work like a ba$tard" to ensure that the gains would be in strength rather than just fat.

The 3 basic types ectomorph (skinny as fock, can't put on weight) endomorph (tend towards fat) and messomorph. (big naturally strong feckers)

Very few are purely one or the other. We are all a mix. But "hard gainers" are predominantly ecto.

Go for the amino acids.

Also, unrelated query. Does anyone know of somewhere in the city centre where you can get loose chillies?

What part? Best idea for chillies is to go to a muslim shop or similar. Greengrocers good too but tend to be a bit dearer. Supermarkets: stay the hell away from them for spices and herbs.

Cool, have gone to shops where they come pre-packaged & mixed and the other half can only stand green chillies.
