Swimming Pools—City Centre

Post by ronk »

Been using Markewitz but looking for somewhere nicer. Thinking of Joining Trinity. Anyone any experience there or elsewhere in the city centre?

I'd be interested in the gym too, but the pool is essential.

Theres only a handful of options in the city centre if you want a pool...

http://www.sanovitae.com/ifsc/ (OK but is a hotel gym and is underground)

http://www.crunchfitness.ie/astonquay.html (partly underground also and is a bit like a knocking shop, dim lights etc)

Only think i've heard about Trinity is that it can be very busy at times but not sure if thats the gym only (the pool might be OK).

Maldron has a pool too and, if you're south side of the city, Energie has a good pool and gym on Shelbourne Road.

The one in Rathmines is meant to be quite nice.

Thanks guys. Think I'll be trying Trinity as it's the best location for me.
