Any rural dwellers out there? Handsome rooster to be rehomed
Are there any fellow Leinster fans who keep poultry and who is willing to provide a new home for a young rooster?
Mr. Bear and I keep hens, and one of the hens hatched a few chicks earlier this summer. Of the four who hatched, two fell foul of a magpie just after they hatched, and another was picked off by a local fox a few weeks later.
The remaining chick has now grown up, and it turns out that he's a, eh, lively rooster. As we're in the 'burbs, our neighbours won't be best impressed if we keep a rooster, so we're looking for a new home for him. Having survived two assaults, it'd be a shame to send him for the chop.
He is a pure-breed cuckoo maran, 16 weeks old, and he answers to the name of 'Tiny'.

Not yet, unfortunately. Living in the city, we have a fairly small network of people who keep hens, so we're finding it difficult to find him a home. Because of that, any help would be appreciated!rooster wrote:Nice bird by the way, did you find a home for him yet ?
What? He could be sent to live with a Munster fan!?meinster wrote:... it could always be worse.TheBear wrote:it'd be a shame to send him for the chop.
