Danske Bank closing

Didn't see a thread on this - apologies if duplicating.

I have to switch from Danske - personal and mortgage accounts. Anyone have any opinions on the options - there are only 5 and not all (looking at you KBC) could be called full service retail banking. In reality I do most things on line anyway but I do still get the odd throw-back who gives me a cheque (that would be you Revenue) and so do need to be able to physically lodge cheques. My concern is more to do with mortgage - moving it will require somebody open for mortgage lending (without having to spend 9 months getting approval)

Am thinking AIB seems to be the best placed but any thoughts or feedback on the others welcome.

The mortgage lending part is staying put, it's the retail banking stuff that's closing.
