Original ideas for work day out?

Post by StuF »

I've been lumped with organising a summer work day/half day out somewhere for 20-25 people.

Anybody got any original suggestions from something they've done recently. Best I've seen so far is:
http://www.pcquad.com/ which has a choice of activities.

There's also the other obvious one - go-karting.

BTW - as I have executive power here we're not going paintballing ;)

Any ideas will be most welcome.

Take them all up to the Sally Gap and leave them there with a Euro - then tell them that they have to get back (on their own) to Keilys. The first 1/3 back get a full supper with beer and wine, the second 1/3 back get a bowl of chips and some mineral water, the last 1/3 back have to pay for it all :D

You could always take them out for a pic nic to the beach at Donnybrook.......banana sandwiches, Tayto cheese and onion and over stewed tea on a tartan rug. :D

Cooking in BrookLodge? Half day courses, followed by eating what you've cooked, with wine etc? apparently they're good fun.

We wouldnt' have the likes of you. Shouting AFFLUENCE! at inappropriate moments, or standing up when you're supposed to be kneeling down, or singing
He is Lord
He is Lord
He has Risen From the Dead
and He is Lord
Ev'ry Knee Shall Bow
Ev'ry Tongue Con-fess

That BRIAN O' DRISCOLL

IS LORD :D

I suggested going paint-balling but using lead pellets instead of the paint ones at work today. No-one seemed interested.

Similarly, when one lad suggested we go karting and I told him he didn't need to hot-wire it, he wasn't particularly amused. Dunno why though...... he's DNS.

Glad to hear it - very accessible too! I bought a friend, a voucher for the same place as a wedding gift, so good to know you'd recommend it.
