Harp Lager

Post by Ballyman »

Does anyone, Flash in particular, know where you can buy Harp Lager in bottles?? I want to put this blind taste test theory into practice.

All I can find anywhere is cans. Beer tastes like piss from a can.

I know, I know, harp tastes like piss anyway....blah, blah, blah.

You can get it in Gringo land. You might also pick it up in Waterford and Dundalk.

Joking apart, it seriously is a very good beer. Ask Cahill - he drank 8 pints of it in my gaff on Friday night.....

Sorry?? Surely this can't have offended you??

I don't think this particular topic felt right in "Leinster Addicts" so I though it would be better served here.

Is that ok??

It must have changed since my day so, mind you, pints were never the same since they got rid of the hand drawn pump. And Sally O'Brien and the way she might look at you......

I'm looking for somewhere inside the Pale. Tried all the usual places around Clontarf/Fairview/Marino but nobody has it bottled.

It's all the rage in Kerry on draught. Not great though on draught.

You can get it on draft in McDaids and at the airport. Not sure where else. I haven't seen it in the Pale.
