Why was the abusive posting page locked?

i posted two thread about it and one went off topic, so i split it.

i thought it likely that the second one was about to go off topic too, so i just locked it.

This is not criticism but are we not going to have a thread that we can post on discussing the top story in Irish/world rugby at the moment?
