Videos In Signatures

Should be banned.

As should photos/pictures etc.

Signatures should be limited to (short) texts or quotes.

Anyone else agree or disagree?

Depends on the file size, less than 100 kb, it should be okay, otherwise I agree. If you're using Firefox and the troubling file is remotely linked from another site, you can right click on the vid and select "Block Images from..."

In principle I agree however

I agree, there is a place you can show these photos. It makes it look like you're not working when you are in work! :wink:

I also find it very distracting - not to mention nauseatingly repetitive as well.

Must admit I keep scrolling to avoid seeing epaddys...uurrgggh!
Think I'm with you guys on this one - very annoying....maybe if it was smaller it would be less distracting?

If you are referring to ePaddy's signature then I must point out that it is not a video. it's an image file (Animated GIF). It actually is quite small file size. But you're right DP, it's a bit of an eye sore.

it was a 950k animated gif and it has been removed :)
