Welcome to Leinster

Hi,

Just noticed on the "Welcome to Leinster" page at the begining of the site, I took a moment to look at the coat of arms at the bottom, then realised I didn't really recognise some of them, but most notably, couldn't pin point which was supposed to be Dublin? (12 coats of arms assuming each county has one there).

Isn't Dublins coat of arms:



It's a small point, probably not even worth raising ( ) but just thought I'd mention it anyway as I'm bored.

Apperantly, according to wikipedia, this is the Dublin county crest:



I am ashamed to say I have never seen that in my life, nor had any idea they differed!! I always just assumed the 3 castles was Dublin, didn't differenciate. Fair enough, mystery solved anyway. Thanks.

don't be. I thought I knew the Dublin crest and that that other one must be the city thing. Dublin GAA have a 3 castle crest which is not the city one and certainly not that bird
